The internal sensor on the Stylus 830 is a CCD which measures 1/2.3 " with a RGB color filter. Olympus implemented a digital zoom on the Stylus 830 and included an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 70 cm.
The minimum shutter speed on the Stylus 830 is 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Olympus Stylus 830 includes an internal memory of 14.8 mb extendable with external storage with xD Picture Card + Internal. The LCD screen of the Stylus 830 diagonally measures 2.5 ". A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
