Olympus is back with its new model, the Olympus Stylus 830 which is a very exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was unveiled in the US on the 23/8/07. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 2304 x 1728, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The internal sensor on the Stylus 830 is a CCD which measures 1/2.3 " with a RGB color filter. Olympus implemented a digital zoom on the Stylus 830 and included an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 70 cm.

The minimum shutter speed on the Stylus 830 is 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Olympus Stylus 830 includes an internal memory of 14.8 mb extendable with external storage with xD Picture Card + Internal. The LCD screen of the Stylus 830 diagonally measures 2.5 ". A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
