It was shown on the North American market on the 24/8/06. This nice camera measures 91 x 59 x 19 mm while weights 150 g. The FE-190 delivers a maximum resolution of 2816 x 2112. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Olympus FE-190 has been set at 4:3, making a total of 6.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the FE-190 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter.
Olympus included a digital zoom on the FE-190 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The min. shutter speed of the FE-190 is 1/2 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model being a very useful function. The Olympus FE-190 has an internal memory of 22 mb extendable with xD Picture Card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the FE-190 is measuring 2.5 ". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
