Olympus strikes back with its new camera, the Olympus Stylus 700 Digital which is a very special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was presented in North America on the 26/1/06. This nice little piece of technology measures 95 x 56 x 20 mm and has for weight 140 g. The Stylus 700 Digital delivers a maximum resolution of 3072 x 2304. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 2304 x 1728, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Olympus Stylus 700 Digital has been set at 4:3, making a camera of 7.0 mega pixels.

The internal sensor on the Stylus 700 Digital is a CCD which measures 1/2.3 " using a RGB color filter.
