The lens's sensor of the D-425 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter. Olympus added a digital zoom on its D-425 and included an internal flash which is always essential in a camera .
The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the D-425 is 2 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1500 seconds.
