You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2272 x 1704, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Olympus C-5000 Zoom has been set at 4:3, making a total of 4.9 mega pixels.
The sensor on the C-5000 Zoom is a CCD which measures 1/1.8 " and uses a RGB color filter. Olympus added a digital zoom on its C-5000 Zoom and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm.
