The image ratio (w/h) on the Olympus Stylus 740 is 4:3, making a camera of 7.1 mega pixels. The sensor of the Stylus 740 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.3 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Olympus included a digital zoom on the Stylus 740 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 70 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Stylus 740 was set at 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported on this camera being a very useful function.
