The E-400 has for maximum resolution 3648 x 2736. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 3200 x 2400, 2560 x 1920, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Olympus E-400 is set at 4:3, 3:2, making a camera of 10.0 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the E-400 is a CCD measuring only 4/3 " and uses a RGB color filter. The min. shutter speed of the E-400 is 60 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/4000 seconds.
The LCD screen of the E-400 is measuring 2.5". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
