Olympus is back with its new model, the Olympus FE-130 which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was unveiled in North America on the 26/1/06. The Olympus FE-130 will be sold at a retail price of 164in the US, considered affordable for such a camera. This nice camera measures 96 x 63 x 25 mm while weights 160 g. The FE-130 has for maximum resolution 2592 x 1944. It also supports a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Olympus FE-130 is set at 4:3, making a total of 5.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the FE-130 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter.

Olympus included a digital zoom on the FE-130 with an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 10 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the FE-130 is 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this model being a very useful function. The Olympus FE-130 camera has an internal storage of 22 mb extendable by using xD Picture Card + Internal. The LCD screen of the FE-130 measures 2.0 ".
