The image ratio on the Olympus D-435 is 4:3, for a total of 5.1 mega pixels. The sensor of the D-435 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter.
Olympus implemented a digital zoom on the D-435 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the D-435 is 2 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1500 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version being a very useful function. The LCD screen available on the D-435 is measuring 1.5 ". A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
