The D-150Z can be set to a maximum resolution of 1280 x 960. It also supports a lower resolution of 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Olympus D-150Z is set at 4:3, making a camera of 1.2 mega pixels. The sensor of the D-150Z is a CCD which measures 1/3.2 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Olympus implemented a digital zoom on the D-150Z and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the D-150Z is 1/2 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. The Olympus D-150Z camera has an internal storage of 8 mb extendable with SmartMedia. The LCD screen of the D-150Z is measuring 1.5 ".
